What you'd actually do

You'd cut the brand films and DVCs the studio is built on — Tally launches, Asian Paints campaigns, Aditya Birla and Godrej projects. A typical week is one project in fine-cut, one in rough-cut, one in review with the director. We work in DaVinci Resolve. You'll sit next to the director, the colorist, and the sound lead — not in a service queue. You'll own delivery formats, the version log, and the conversation with the client when a frame needs to defend itself.

What we're looking for

Someone whose taste arrives before their reasoning. Five to eight years cutting brand work. Strong in pacing for emotion, not just for narrative. We don't care which film school. We care that you can show us a cut you're proud of and explain a single decision in it without slipping into jargon. Bonus if you have a habit of watching other people's work — Saturday morning, with coffee, no obligation.

What you'd get

A seat in the room for every project the studio takes. A small team with no producer pyramid. Real briefs from real brands. ₹15-25L per year, depending on experience, plus a per-project completion share for projects you anchor. What you'd actually do

You'd run the production calendar across 4-6 active projects, schedule shoots, manage vendor payments, and keep the director's day clean enough to direct. Real days look like: a morning call with a client about a delivery, a vendor negotiation at noon, a recce in Bandra in the afternoon, and a budget reconciliation at the end of the day. You'll own the master schedule, the master budget, and the calm voice on shoot day.

What we're looking for

Three to six years on commercial productions in India. Comfortable with both ad film budgets and indie scrappiness. The kind of person whose vendors call them back. Strong written communication — half the job is briefs and follow-ups. Bonus if you've worked with brands in BFSI, lifestyle, or B2B SaaS — that's most of our client list.

What you'd get

A director who trusts your judgment, a finance team that pays vendors fast, and a real seat at the table on creative decisions. ₹12-20L per year. Mumbai office, hybrid friendly. Reimbursed travel for shoots.
